I have tested every recommendation on this page and use many of them regularly in running my business. Many of these are completely free or have free versions to use indefinitely.

Serpstat
I’ve listed this above in the SEO section, but Serpstat is my main keyword research tool so I have to include it here as well. It’s free with limited data access, and you can use it forever (no trial period). Type in a keyword and Serpstat will provide you with related keywords and their search volumes. Use those on your site!
You can also enter your website address to see what keywords your site currently ranks for (example here). There’s also keyword position distribution data, keywords trend over time, visibility trend, traffic trend, competitor line up, and more.
Answer The Public
This keyword tool dynamically creates a “search cloud” image to visualize search questions and suggested autocomplete searches. This is great for finding questions that people actually have that are related to your content.
Keyword Tool
Find long-tail and related keywords for your SEO or marketing campaign. This tools taps into the popular auto-suggestions for Google, YouTube, Bing, and other sites.
Google Trends
This analysis tool helps you find keywords based on search volume. You can even compare the relative search volume of searches between two or more keywords.

If you’ve never done any email marketing and have a small email list (say, less than 200 email addresses), start with MailerLite’s free service plan. MailerLite is perfect to get started with email marketing for several reasons.
It’s easy to learn and use, especially with the drag-and-drop editor. You can set up automation for sequential emails to be delivered at your specified timing. Sign-up forms can be created and embedded on your website. They have great tutorials and email support.
